ISO/TS 16949 3^rd Party Auditor Training & Evaluation

Please note that these training / evaluation sessions are exclusive to 3^rd party certification body auditors sponsored by an IATF contracted certification body.

There will be a maximum of 12 people on the training, and 6 people on each evaluation day. Spaces on the training and evaluation dates will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Attendees

These training / evaluation sessions are available for new auditors and new auditors requiring re-takes only, these session are not intended for current auditor wishing to recertify.  To be eligible to attend the training and evaluation new auditors must meet the requirements of 4.2 in the 3^rd edition of the Rules for Achieving IATF Recognition.  It is mandatory for new auditors to attend the 3 day training followed by the evaluation. 

 

Training

The 3 day training session is based on the IATF Automotive Process Approach to auditing as defined in the 3^rd edition of the Rules for Achieving IATF Recognition, and includes industry driven best practice as detailed within the IATF Auditor Guide for ISO/TS 16949.  Please note that the training does not include a review of the requirements ISO/TS 16949:2009.

 

Evaluation

The 1 day evaluation will test the auditor's knowledge and application of the IATF Automotive Process Approach, ISO/TS 16949 standard, Rules for Achieving IATF Recognition and related core tools through written exams and an Interview.

 

 

CURRENT AUDITORS, requiring recertification -

 

• Recertification will be achieved through a transition event in the Auditor Development Process (ADP), accessible from the home page of http://www.iatfglobaloversight.org/.
